Hey guys, looking for a opinion. I bought some new wheels for my 28 Tudor. I am going to eventually paint my car Rock Moss green with black fenders. My ? is, Do you think it will look good with the wheels painted a cool vanilla? I like the traditional/vintage look of that. Just not real sure with the two tone paint scheme.

My opinion, dark green or black, especially if you are running wide whites.

Vanilla Cream looks traditional and is neutral enough to look good with any color... espeacially with black wall tires. With black fenders, I would lean towards black or even the same green as the body. I think black or green would look better than cream if you are going to use white wall tires.;)

I like your idea of vanilla wheels with the body painted Rock Moss green with black fenders. Go for it! Wheels are easy to repaint if you don't like it.

Cream sounds good. I think an orange wheel would look nice also. I know a guy that had a 47 ford two door sedan that was painted dark green with orange wheels and it looked real sharp.

My old 31 was black with orange wheels. Wanting to do something different. Do you have any more pics of your sedan? Looks LOW!

I'm going to mount the tires on the wheels tomorrow. I bought new 15x5's and 15x6's. going 145's and 235's. My wife can't see the vanilla looking good, but i think it'll look clean. What about painting the firewall to match the wheels?

I think cream goes with almost any color and looks nice.
would look nice with the green/black in my opinion.

my second choice would be green that matches body color

So, for all intents and purposes, you're going to paint your Model A like a stocker. A good choice I'd say. All Fords from 1909-1932 had black fenders.
Best to use a stock=like pinstriping as well. Can't beat perfection.

I think you might look into a light/bright ,contrasting green for the wheels. I seen a few
that were done this way, and looked real sharp.
