Sweet wagon Nathan. Any mods planned or are you going for total stockness?

I'll leave it blue till rebuild time.

Air cleaner and valve covers will be vintage looking aluminum units.
I'll add disc brakes and maybe change the wheels down the road. Lower the car and tint the windows are my first mods.. any repairs needed will be first.

Nice cruiser is all I'm looking for

OK, Ill be the first one to post a 1960 after 30 pages. This is my new 60, fresh out of 40 year storage. 51 K miles, Original paint, no rust, nice interior, 6 cylinder 3 speed. After new brakes and all the other stuff you do to the mechanicals of a car that has been sitting for 40 years....It is going to be lowered with new coker wide whites, the rims will be painted light blue again (nicely) and the same hubcaps will remain. Its name "The UnFairlane II" I had a 60 a while back named that.

The pic is dark but your quarter looks OK. I have an email off on a 64 4dr parts car in eastern Washington, I need the front clip we'll see what happens.

Lovely thread folks, I`ve got a tired old 64 500 4d as a daily driver for some years now. Added a hotted up 65 289/302 w. afr heads & stuff making it hot enough to run sideways if a M3 or a audi turbo should appear:cool:

Welcome to the thread Unfair lane. I have the same car 260 Cruse O Matic for a daily driver, and a 64 500 2 door hard top roller 302 C-4 for having fun.

It must be a challenge finding parts where your at.

I am hoping to restore a Project Ford Fairlane skyliner 1959. The engine needs a rebuild , any tips on these V8's ?
Also, is there any links to downloading the User servive manuals? and diagram of the engine?

Had a '66 GTA pro street car for a couple years. Sold it.

Been shopping for a decent '64 2 door sedan (in my price range) for a couple years. Guess I may be beat and have to switch to the dark side. Been lookin' at 62-65 Novas lately.

Anyone have a '64 post 2 door they are tired of and want to keep me from switchin', drop me a line.

    Envious of you people!
