  1. I happen to know a guy who has a nice set of these if you decide you can't live without a pair.

    .

  2. I'd love more pics of both if you don't mind.

That is a 35 speedometer in your dad's 36... I would not be sure that you really have an original low mileage car ... unless they used the 35 in the early 36 production run....I don't believe any odometer I see unless I have compete history of the car..... anyways VERY nice car!

My roadster freshly painted. Runs an 8BA, twin 94s, and a C4.

  6. Took me 5 years, but I finally got one.....'36 5W, pretty much complete and VERY solid (only needs a small patch in the trunk which the seller included from one of his parts cars). No motor or tranny, but that's ok....my '57 371 Rocket should be fun in this car :)

Sorry the pics suck, I've been too busy to break out the good camera.

Congrats Rusk!!!!! That looks like a great start! I thought for sure you would have went custom with that but with a 57 Olds it sounds like you're coming to the dark side!! Welcome Bwahahahaha!!!

A line has been drawn in the sand. I was hoping you'd end up on my side but now prepare to die!!!!!

Just kidding, I love these things as customs. I'd like to find a 36 roadster I could trade my 33 for and make a custom I think. Stars would have to line up just right though.

Here is mine. Just got it back on the road and now going to see if I can sell it. Took a 400 mile round trip to Quincy, Il last week and had a ball.

  14. We picked up this roadster this summer, after I sold my Packard and 34 roadster. Its running a 327/300 with the stock driveline and hydraulics. I've added Posie's springs, but ultimately aiming for a mid-60's feel. Thinking 5 spoke Cragers and a slight rake. An overdrive would be nice too.

  16. MY 36 is a pickup. My brother chopped it 10 inches and narrowed it 20 inches to use as a B'ville racer. He never got around to finishing it and gave it to me. We'll see how far I get with it.

Just took a day to ride up into the Smokey Mountains in our '36 roadster. Ended up driving 260 miles. The little flattie just sang a song all day.

Here's our new truck cab. We're putting on an 80's chassis that Dad has had forever, with a Nova clip and a small block. He wants a quick driver project and is hoping to have it driveable for the 2013 Iron Invasion.

And if you haven't seen it yet, here are my new Tshirts for my design business, with my ongoing cabriolet project. Info HERE for info.

Also have some '35 rear coupe fenders for sale if anyone is looking.

    Great thread.

I think I posted this on an earlier '35-'36 ford hot rod thread, but here it is again.

The day I picked it up.
