Love this thread! Here is mine. Old race car in Georgia from 1957-1967; Until now! Raced it last weekend with a 401 Buick, 4 speed, and 57 olds rear!

Here is the 1st one that had a 2nd body it. This is the same gas station in Piru,CA. that the CA. Kid was filmed at. These were shot in May 1991. Station looks the same, but the gas pump is now gone.

  6. One of the best pictures to demonstrate that a well stanced '33-4 doesn't have to be chopped. Good one!!!

    Thank you Uncle Bob,
I so appreciate that, That was shot @ Muroc with just 3 friends cruising around the lake on a SCTA Meet day. That car is a throw back to how these cars actually were and still are. It is amazing that it didn't get scooped up by a street rodder.

Kevin, nice to see the coupe again.

I am beginning to think that I have to "hate" you now - you have some of THE BEST toys ;)

Might be time to get it out and use it while you can .... you know where I am coming from.

My favorite chop... super low like a race car but without the smashed back windshield. Gary

I so have to agree with you!!!!! Ya know when you have these cars, (And believe me, I feel so very lucky being the caretaker of these cars:D.)
Ya have ta have a very good place to put them. Since you have seen them on your visits to the states, you know how tight it really is:confused:.
I miss driving the coupe and it's time that I get it back out since it's insured and registered. People are going to think it's a barn find:cool:.

Time on this earth is short and we really need to enjoy the things that we work so very hard to continue to care for. Hope that yo make it back over soon.

It was a great buy and it took about 5 hours to talk him into it........"The easy money what got him" Not that it was easy because that car is spot on in my head, I have been looking for some time for the correct car and done nice and thats it. I had a NOS SCOT BLOWER and manifold that is going on it.......That will top it off......I will post pics when were done. Did you see the chop on the 33?

see where it says "post reply" just to the left and on top of your post? click on that. type what your going to say, then look for "manage attachments". click on that bar. a box will appear. click on "browse" click on that and it will take you to your photos. select a photo, click open. it will appear on the line in the other box, repeat for more photos. then hit "submit" at bottom of page. someone was nice enough to walk me through it a while back and now i'm super computer person.

Why aren't they called 4 windows and 6 windows? Is the windshield not a window?
