I can pick this 37 for a song, less than a g, what would you do with it, besides the obvious. Like scrap it, strip it and sell the good stuff. I wanna hear about build ideas. The fenders are great and so are the runninboards. The cab is good. The doors are good. Its heavily channeled and the deck lid is home made. I wouldnt use the nose. If you can photoshop tour ideas, that would be optimal.

Wow ...I guess there is art and creativity and all that but it looks like somebody was smokin' the " righteous weed " when they designed ( ?) and built this piece . I'd be selling off what I could . I hope the "song" you are paying is in the hundreds of dollars .

  3. I think i would find a new song to sing, this one has been played to long and is wore out.

Yea, that could be a nice custom with a little elbow grease. Get rid of the ugly nose job and reshape the rear deck and you could have something there.

From the front I can see this as a stylized gangster car all black, some kind of traditional type chrome grill, the headlights I could live with, the bumper thing has to go and the tail end needs some serious bobbing -- but it has potential, pick a concept you like and go for it - if you can't come up with a concept you can get behind, part it out.

Wow... I would have snagged it up too though. Have fun with it man, it's not like pre-war iron is that easy to find these days even if it has been a little.... what's the word??

There's a pretty sweet 37' on Dogfight... it's not all together my cup of tea, but you might find some inspiration there.

I think with some (read: lots of) work, you could end up with a nice custom.

But it would probably be better to start with a '37 that's closer to stock.

looks like an attempt at a promod car. Not a lot of original shaped metal left on it. Bonneville car is the best suggestion so far.

Y'know, I've always been a believer that just because you can do something, that don't mean you should.

Someone photoshop this poor thing for me. Chrome reverse, www big and littles, 37 ford truck grill, little chrome nerf bars, and pencil tips out of a nice rear pan.;)

  24. It is not near as bad as some builds ideas I have seen or heard about on this forum. I feel sorry for the car. It did nothing wrong and was abused. I hope the builder does not have children or a dog.

before I enlarged the pictures I thought the basic profile could be saved with a reworked front end but the large photos show that the car has been ruined and the only way to fix the body would be to cut out everything at start over.

you could always smother it in bondo and make it whatever you wanted.

  28. Either fix the roof or remome it. Go with a tasteful grill and you got something. I've seen worse finnished cars.

I've looked at the pictures over and over, and I really have to agree with those who said leave it where it is and walk away. I don't see $1000 or less worth of anything there. The body has been hacked up pretty badly, and it would take so much to get it even close to something you would be proud to own.

As strange as it seems, there are cars that would not be worth taking even if they were free.
