I have been putting together a flathead 8ba engine. It came with a flywheel no clutch parts. I picked up a 10" kit and it does not line up to the fly wheel. The bolt holes on my flywheel are 3" apart, the 10" kit is 3.125" apart. I have a 4 speed spur gear trans for it. Can any one help me out?

Do you have it figured out? I'd like to know also.

Ford used several Long-style clutches. The info below should help ID what size clutch you need. :)

Measure the part of flywheel that looks polished.
Do you know what flywheel came from? There are a BUNCH of different clutches.
See if polished area is around 9 1/2, 10, or 11...AND are the 6 holes in pairs with longer gaps between pairs or are they evenly spaced.
That leads to...what transmission are you goin to attach the thig to?

Take the flywheel to a local clutch specialist, they'll get you what's needed. Easiest way, I found.

Turned out to be a 9.5 inch flywheel. I ended up picking up a 10 inch flywheel at a local swap meet for $40. Then used the 10" clutch kit i had already ordered.
