Deuces, nice collection. I have seen both the 32 and the "T" recently for sale in a hobby shop but have never seen the drag car before. So that is my vote, build the drag car and keep us up to date with the build.

  5. My friend Keith J. gave me this 1960s vintage AMT 1/25 scale 1939 Ford Tudor model last week. The only parts that have been messed with are the flathead engine. The rest is intact and unbuilt. TM

Deuces - I'd go for the Big Deuce. I already have a Big T and Big Drag.:D

    They're all great kits.

Here's a photo of a crazy diorama I saw this weekend at the NSRA Nats in Tampa. The scuba divers are investigating the wreck of a WWII aircraft being covered in coral. See it? Gary

I would build a Big Drag replica before I built a vintage unbuilt Monogam kit. Thats worse than driving a new caddy off the lot. I have a mint Big Tub and it will never see glue, by me anyway. Maybe the next owner:D

That's what I had in mind even though I own not one, but 2 BiG Drag kits... I'll start by using the latest BiG T kit and add parts from the Monogram parts packs to build the replica.... Some person on here doesen't believe I own the vintage kits.. I'll post whatever parts he wants to see from those kits...;)

What parts packs are needed to convert a Big T to a Big Drag?

Also, any chance Monogram will re-issue the Big Drag?

    Build it!

It's no different than a real car, do you keep it in the garage or do you drive it?

Drive the real ones, build the models!

I find it a lot more fun to build the oldest rarest most valuable kits I can find. They are alot more interesting than a fake.
Its like building a kit car instead of restoring an original.
