if i'm not mistaken, i came on around django and plowboy, like i said, it was after attending the first pileup. i just can't believe the rate of growth that has occurred here on the hamb. i wonder how long before we hit 300,000 or do you think it will level off?
Rick, I think the site will continue to grow because there will always be people that don't know how to do something and this has become the find it out place. I think that as far as traditional rods and customs are concerned the trend will sway just like it always does and only the core group will be as active in the future. That or the focus of the site will have to shift with trends. I would like to see the focus of the site remain traditional and I am sure that the boss would like that as well. I may be here until I check out, there is not other place that I have found that is as focused on doing things in a traditional sense. I guess that then the site will be one member short, or at least be one active member short.

Just one name: GERM. Back then, you'd know why. These last couple of years have been a tidal wave of FNG'z that still struggle to 'get the criteria'. But, the sticky Ryan posted is a sign of change.
52065 here.... I've been really busy with a "big move" to LA,new job and "life" to read/post much lately. Today was an odd day that I logged in....I guess it was Ryan's post about '61 Thunderbirds. I even let my Alliance membership lapse a couple of months ago... I still have until the end of the year to renew it and have consecutive tags though!
hell i remember being flamed and dudes sending me flaming PM's and then figuring out they sent them to the wrong person! Best part about that is when they figure out they sent it to the wrong person and sent a "sorry dude i fucked up"! been deleted and had threads moved and honor being in the club by not being banned for a drunken rant!
Okay, where do you locate your member number? I have seen others ask and the reply is always whatever their number is. Just wondering because I have no idea what mine is.
