I hear you...dont even want to get into the previous repairs that were done to this car....what a joke. Pulled off the new outer rockers to put them where they are supposed to be to line up correctlly only to find there were no inner rockers. Thats just the begining of the butchering that was done to cover things up to sell it! Good thing I,m capable of doing this myself.

Im definately hearing you and my motivation comes and goes in spurts as I find more problems. Blows me away how some people can just pick up a grinder and welder and think they can do it

Hopefully our cars will be on the road and looking spiffy at the same time. By the way your little man is the same age as mine, and they both love our Mercs. Training them young ;) I just keep handing my son sandpaper and a block and he goes for hours hahahaha. He works for kisses and cuddles......not too bad.

I'm sure the LS1 would have been good but in my opinion the W engine will be more exciting to look at. Your merc looks great! but seriously I wouldn't let the kid drive it till he's 7 ft tall or 50 years old ,which ever comes first.

  11. Man, great build. Chop is perfect. Headlights and grill are right on the money. This is going to be a nice piece. Thought about colors yet?

What's wrong with a 460/C6 combo? Lots of torque and it will keep your FOMOCO all blue.

Nothing wrong with a 460.. great motor. Just like the look of the 348/409 motor with tripower.
