Just wondering. I think my '57 could wear one and look pretty cool.

In the 50s and 60s the only cars with visors were considered garbage wagons.
Those people added lots of accessories and were considered the opposite of traditional hotrods

1954 was the last year for visors, at least the newest one I ever saw. They seemed to be a thing from 1948 to 1952, they came out of nowhere then disappeared as suddenly.

I have seen a few 57 buick visors, they have the ribs on each side that match the top.

My 57 chevy had an original visor.

This place sells reproductions for $260:

There was an original one on ebay a month or two ago. I think they were asking like $700 for it.

What I am saying is that visors are not a traditional hotrod or custom item.

Neither were those ugly hang on the window A/C POSs. Just because it's old doesn't mean it was cool when it was new for hotrodders of that era. I had a genuine Fulton that came with my 46 Woodie but there is no way that I could use it. The trends you are following are new trends and not traditional trends of the day. You had to be there to understand.
