Weds was a pretty kool cruise nite. I took a OT street machine=sorry .
Thanks to all that make it week after week. We truly appreciate your participation.
We may try this week to have our participants to order straight from our carhop if they want to chow down. So if she asks if you'd like something off the drive-in menu,let her know.

Other than Ruby's Anaheim and Sonic in the O.C. and L.A. Counties I don't know of any other recently opened drive-is so come and experience it again. We also have a 3rd anniversary show. It will be Sunday Oct 7th and will include a car show. Come and out and celebrate it with us .

Good going, Great Cruise last weds, looking forward to next week.

We're having a car wash for Brad Masterson's friend who is battling breast cancer.
It's taking place on Sat 9/22 9am til 4pm Please come in and support this effort.
Car Hops will be there if ya want to chow in your car,then get it washed .

 

Brad's Kustom Kar Wash will be a fundraiser for Brad's mother-in-law Vicky Jones. A car wash will only cost five dollars, the drive-in will be open, AND there'll be a 50/50 too...so join us this Saturday! Thanks to Jim and Lindsey for hosting this event at the Broiler.

On a serious note now, Kev that's great. That 60 bills (and counting) and no water has touched a car yet. With that said, you don't have to have your baby get wet, just come down with your rod, custom, bomb, bike and donate the price of the wash (or up the challange) to the cause. All daily's welcome as well, after all, they're water safe.

Took the wagon out for a little soap and water on Sat. It was good to see some old friends that I have not seen in a while. Talked with Kevin, Johnny Gee, RBroadster, cornernfool and Brad Masterson. I am sad I did not get to see Adriene.

Wow, we are looking at our 3 year anniversary show coming up on October 7th,going on all day. There is a deal on food and off site there will be a band as the party continues there, (See Broiler Flyer for details).

I know that for some unknown reason, gas has been on the rise!!!!!!
Jim, Adriene and I really want to say THANK YOU for coming out week after week and
being a part of what we worked/work so hard to bring back, all we need now is customers to be on the look out for our new lunch menu and come and join us Sunday for our 3rd anniversary!!!!!!!

Sunday, the wife and I were hanging out watching movies and we played one that she hadn't seen; "The Game" About 3/4 the way through there was a scene where Michael Douglas was trying to hitch a ride to Frisco and he stopped at...



YEP! JOHNIES BROILER! We both sat up off the couch with both our jaws dropped! Was a cool moment! For those of you who have seen the movie, you know what they showed next. For those of you who haven't, check out the movie. It's a good watch and there is a clip of Michael Douglas standing INSIDE! Great view of what it once looked like and also a great reminder of how good of a job was done bringing the Broiler back to life!

Was also a good reminder of the good times we had there in the past few years! Great memories!
