    That would be awesome!

  8. If I didn't have a tour scheduled at my house, I would be there just for the Lucky Bucket. Have fun and drink one for me.

count on at least 3 from Sioux Falls.

if this tour is anything like the Spencer, IA and Watertown, SD tours...

    it should be great fun...

    Very cool, Tim!
Hopefully the websites listed at the beginning of this thread will give you an idea of what each shop is all about.

    Awesome!

No after party. We are ending with a beverage (and most likely a tour) at Lucky Bucket Brewery. The Filter Kings are playing at the Sydney (60th & Maple) in the Benson area of Omaha that evening. I'm sure a few of us will end up there - always a good time!

Not going to be able to swing it. Mini me has his Last reg season football game and Friday is homecoming for them. Since I have the big car trailer ,I got the awesome privilege of carting 40 10 year old boys in town for the float.

Have a good time and be sure to update with some pics.

We made the trek down from Sioux Falls for the event.
The weather looked ominous, but it turned out to be a great day.

First stop was at the Heartland Speed Shop.
They have an in-floor dyno setup, and ran Jason's '31 A-Hole on it.
I think they said 280+ to the wheels, and 300+ tork...
Should haul that model A around with some pretty good grunt...

    2nd stop was at WheelTech...

the refinish/repair/restore/wheels, nice big building, lots of machinery to do the job.

    street and parking lot shots...

this Nova wagon was a little crude, but he was driving, and we left our car at home, so I can't bash too much...looks to be some fun though...

3rd stop was at Midlife Auto.
I don't know what this owner does in life for money, but he had some great toys.
most of them were O/T for this forum (Camaro, Mustang, Corvette, Nova, GTX, etc)
There were some very cool rides there, and a beautiful building to house them in...

    parking lot shots...

this was a very nice Mercury...

last stop (for us) was at J2 Speed and Custom...
this building was crammed full of cars, mostly Camaros, Mustangs, and some other o/t rides in various forms of repair and customization...very nice building and provided a large parking lot for the hot rodders that drove...

I think the slot is for a turn signal from a volkswagon. Great turnout, had a good time. Thanks for putting it together Nick! Rob

semaphore was the correct answer...good catch...

    here it is per thesamba.com

semaphores= Turn signals used before flashers were in general usage, these arms pop-up from the body of the vehicle and lights up via a small bulb to indicate you wish to turn. Used through the 1960 models in Europe and else where. Until 1955 in the USA.

Wheeltech had a Volkswagen they were restoring when time permitted...

It was like an airplane in the basement deal, though, as it appeared there was no way they got it in there, and no way to get it out...they had a plan, though...
