A good Cuban cigar and a couple of shots of good ol Jack Daniels whiskey has been known to cure many an ailment, or at least dull it to the point you don't give a crap...:D

p.s.: i prescribe some days off and lots of hours in your garage, that should work, if not, you should take a cure at hemi farms....

I can tell you, it worked. I substituted the cigar for a cigarette though, just to make sure my lungs were still working.:D

    Thank you Finn.

Ha, that's funny Carsten. I did manage to do some flying duties the last 4 days, so I'm back in the garage tomorrow!

Feeling a lot better now, thanks!

Thanks Steve. I'm planning to finish the passenger side board and brackets this week!

    I get the message guys!:D

Started on the passenger side running board today. I first fixed both rounded ends and then cut the running board. Fabricated a small piece to fit in between and started welding it up. The second pic shows the underside where I've welded the support to the board. I'll be finishing it off tomorrow and then it's onto the brackets. Feels good to be back guys!:D:D:D

Thank you Hogman. I guess another 2/3 months or so and then I can start to dismantel everything for "body and paint". That's when the real fun begins!

Thanks BrerHair. Steady can also be very tedious at times. It just never seems to go faster than initially anticipated. But I'll get there.:D

Finished off the passenger side running board today. It took longer than expected (hey, what's new), but came out looking great.

Also helped my best friend Bart on his 56 F100. Did a bit of dismantling work and cut some holes. Going to install bear claws, some re-wiring, install electric windows and a lot more. It's past midnight now, so time to get some sleep and start tomorrow with modifying the running board brackets.:D

After a few busy days, I managed to get some time in the garage today. I've now finished modifying the front bracket for the passenger side running board. Tomorrow I hope to continue with the rear bracket. :D

Nice modification on the brackets. It must be a pain to get the correct angles to get it to fit.... Just the last one and your done. What's next? Looking awesome as always.

Thank you sir. After this is done I'm going to modify the splash pan. It's too long with the "new" chassis, so it will be shortened and receive some mounts to attach it to the front of the chassis. After that is done, there are still quite a few jobs before it goes to body and paint. But hey, getting closer every day.:D

Finished the last bracket today. Yes! Gave it some primer and now I'm done with the running boards. Next week: splash pan modification. Getting close to body and paint now!

Yes. I'll be dismantling everything again. Then get the chassis painted while the underneath of the body gets done. Then mount the body on the chassis again and do the bodywork/paint on that. I'm really looking forward to that chapter of the build!:D:D:D
