Rolled down from Washington to check out the original Billetproof show in Antioch. The 750 mile trip each way was without incident except for alittle vapor lock issue in one of the rigs. Had a great time ( thanks Alan, Melissa, and the Dragoons for a great show) and got to see some cool cars, the vender and swapmeet area were good, and lots of female eyecandy walking around...Alan Heres a link to the pics on Fotki : http://public.fotki.com/Kustombuick/car_shows/2012/billetproof-califor/ 'The Misfits' that rolled down Love them Nailheads... Best Of Show...
Damn, I missed that car. I wonder now what else I missed up there. Oh well, I had a blast. I think there was a lot more cars than last year too
Ya there was 850+ cars and we missed some to, saw acouple roll thru looking for parking spots then we could never find them to check them out...Alan
Also known as Ass Monkey Garage. Made a name of themselves, taking credit for building cars that were done by others, among other things. http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/update-gas-monkey-garage-scandal-97414.html
Alan, thanks for sharing your pictures. Glad to see the Misfits made the quick trip down and back with minor problems.
Great pics as always Alan! Drive 750 miles in one day, do car show for one day, and drive 750 miles home! That what I call a sucessful weekend. Why wouldn't we drive these old cars like they were built for the road!
Thanks to the Mistfits for making the long trip!!! we need to get some of the CA crew to come up to the Washington show... perhaps a club challenge/party. A WA clubs hosts a party (with a little help from Billetproof) for a CA club that makes the trip. Whatya say?
You guys out there have some really well done cars. Looked like a fun day, but Billetproof shows are always fun. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Don
I'm pretty sure I saw some of you guys caravan through Medford Oregon this weekend.... That paint job on your Buick sticks out like a sore thumb. Looked great going down the road.
Im bumping this back up because I am looking for a powder coater that I talked to at this show local to Antioch or Pittsburgh. Thought I tucked his card away and now I can not find it - any one know who this is?
I'm fairly sure ya'll would be kicked out while camping out the night before but you have some stiff competition up north... oh sure flaming go-kart racing is cool... but there's picnic table burning and mini-bike racing at 2am to be done in Washington
thanks for sharing. andy tried his hardest to convince me to roll down with you guys but i was sure about the new motor and i had to work maybe next time
