We have a really good classic car mueseum here full of some amazing cars. The guys down there have been very interesting to talk to.

Here is a link to their website... which does not do justice to the place or the number and quality of cars.

Just ran the engine on the stand again and got her to idle pretty smoothly just above a thousand rpm. Ran 100ll av gas this time so my carb doesn't get gummy while I finish the back of the frame. I still dont know what I'm doing but im getting better at learning.

Got the ot engine sitting in the frame on its own. trans crossmember is almost done but its not pretty like the engine mount.

Man that is neat, thanks... those ribs look mighty similar and the wheels kick ass (if they were a little more narrow)

That paint makes me want to stray from the grey...

  19. Looking good, keep on it. Get it finished except paint first so you can drive and sort out any small items. Then worry about paint and making it shiny.

Now that you got her on board, progress must resume.

Too late!! haha I asked him for a couple measurements a while back and spilled the beans. I also called Bruce's Rod Shop and asked a few questions abouth thier shop trucks... I like the longer bed, but maybe with some fenders.

I just got most of the trans. crossmember stuck together, but Im having a last minute debate with myself about changing the tail end to a chevy/s10 (bad joojoo I know) so the shifter is further forward, but I cant find one here in town!!! 2 wheel drive is hard to come by here.

hammeredrods: Glad I can supply a little motivation... This place is good for a kick in the pants!

Kona Cruisers: hahaha yeah I just talked myself out of it!

I did find a guy here with a pile of t5 parts, but this truck is already 99% frankenstien. The least I can do is leave my cheap tranny just that... CHEAP.

I slacked off on the design and went with the most basic set up I could think of... This thing is not pretty but it will stay out of the way if I decide to use under floor pedals. I think it's the fact that winter is setting in, the leaves are almost all gone and the first frost is due any day now. Commence the depression and losing skin color.
