We had a great day at the Antique Nationals! Ran great, straight, and smooth. Really fun day!

My girlfriend Amy, (and fellow Hamb member) drove the Antique Doll for the first time. She has never driven a car at the drags so she was a little nervous.

She took it to half throttle and had a great fun run! Smile from ear to ear! She's excited to get back in, and see what she can really do!

Also Hamb member Mazooma took a great picture of her before the run

What Carl said. Amy looks like she has found a happy spot. Once you make a pass in a rail, your life will never be the same.

Was wondering if you were going to make it to Bandimere in Colorado for the 6 and flathead meet. Buddy of mine is going with his Flathead A, they finished 2nd last year in street division. It's this weekend, would've said something sooner but just got back from SoCal myself

Ah man I wish we could, I'm filming all this weekend and next week... We have been planning on trying to make it out there with a few other flathead dragsters... When is the next flathead/inliner race out that way?

We did a lot of work on the "Doll" the last week.

The biggest update is the shield we added on the rear end, we needed a good ol' nut protector!

We also repainted the chassis, the last year has been tough on the paint so we wanted to sprucin' it up. We decided on a darker shade with a little mini flake. Similar to the original paint in the 70's just a tad lighter though.

Also a new tow vehicle, we got it though a friend that won it in a raffle! So a deal was struck and its a perfect tow car- 1962 Rambler Station Wagon.

    Almost forgot!

We showed the Doll up at Lugana Seca Raceway during the Pebble Beach weekend, Kingdon Drags invited us up, and we had a 4 flathead show!.... along with all the nitro fuelers..

Good Ol' Mooneyes. Took down our spokes and Chico spun them for us.$50 per disc.

He did a great job, quick turn around.

Thanks! We would love to take it to Eagle but I don't think the Rambler will be up for the long tow this year... Still a lot of bugs to figure out, so maybe next year.

  29. Well it's not a woodie but I see you do have the optional "Rich Okie" Chrome Mattress Rack on the roof. :D Strap on a couple of extra slicks up there and I'd say you're good to go!
