So if you have followed the last 4 updates. You would know that this build came to an abrupt end. I pulled the tendons in my right elbow and its taking forever to heal. So as it stands right now this build will remain on hold till my arm is 100% and I have no plans to rush it. As a consolation prize I found the last group of photos I never posted. In fact wheeling out the large center panels is how I hurt my arm in the first place. But don’t feel sorry for me I just switched my focus to my other build, a 1930 model A road race car. I plan to start a build thread on it in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to get fairly far into the project as not to have two stalled build threads.

The body lines look great. What kind of torch is that?

I'm speechless! Beautiful work! Never learned body work, done a little. This is simply amazing. Would love to learn it.

After doing my left arm in three times, I have tears on the tear on my tenons. I did the PT each time but not wanting to do more damage I started working out with dumbells lifting in many directions. It has made a big difference in my arm strength.
And both cars look like great builds.

Tell Timmy to quit jerkin off and build the damned car for you already...or, maybe if you would quit jerkin him off your arm would heal...hahaha...I tip my hat to your skills man, everyone thinks I'm nuts for saving rusty vehicles and I think you're nuts for building a swoopy sports car from scratch...I can't wait to see this thing progress further...

Great welds! Sorry to hear your elbow is still on the mend. What are the plans for the racer, build wise?

289 set back, down draft webber carbs, Magneto, 54 corvette front brakes, 57 olds posi rear end. probably a few wheel and tire combos. for road racing, drag racing, and bonneville. but still keping everything vintage minus the cage.<p>[IMG]

Damn nice work. Too bad that when we get old enough to have developed skills, our parts start to wear out.

Damn nice progress on the 'liner. Now get the arm fixed and get back to making progress. Some of us with 0 skills need a progress fix.:)
