People like the front Bostrum seats and brackets - same stuff as used in the Mopar factory SS cars. Many of them had 3.91 sure grip rears under them too. Don't leave good parts behind.

  3. Heck man....that slant motor will probably fire up, even if it has a rod sticking out of it.

Few things automotive are as nifty as a good old slant six.

This looks like a 1926 ford , sitting at a local pick a part in Coquitlam British Columbia Canada, for sale for the right price , look on the air cover to see the name "gang green" sweet , still has a safety inspection sticker on the window from 1974, probably t he lastt ime it was on the road, i dont think i trust the suspension on this one.

How tough is it to pull the column & box out of one of those style vans? I can snag the steering column & box out of an early Ford van if I can figure out how to remove it.

    I don't see a photo?

If you're not sure how to do it, you click on "Go Advanced" and then "Manage Attachments" you will get a pop-up too upload an image off of your computer.

  8. Not terribly hard to pull the column and box on a Dodge A-100. Column and box are all one unit, column does not detach. Pull the pitman arm off, unbolt from the frame, take up the piece that goes around the base of the column on the floorboard, unbolt the column support from the dash, and pull it up through the floor.

Thank you!! I wasn't sure if they came up through the floor or if I'd have to jack the beast up and pull it out the bottom, which would be a PITA. :)

The first two were on the side of the road somewhere near Electra Texas. There was a for sale sign in the trunk, but it was faded away.

The last two were in a small gated lot off the back road in the same area. No info on the property owner and there were also a few 80's vehicles, so it was hard to say if the place had any recent activity.

In my back yard, I was gonna fix it up someday. Someday never came. Look in the Classifieds section.

Been driving past these for a couple years, never noticed the (46?) Ford in the back untill I slowed down to snap a pic.
