There were a few "off-topic" vehicles there last year. Including mine. ;)

Can always ride shotgun with me.

Might stop into Innisfail for a while first, hence leaving early.

I'll be headed up in a non-friendly vehicle but behind it will be a very hamb friendly vehicle that isn't quite street legal...

    See you guys soon.

Innisfail, Brian? Is that there S/S weekend?

What time are you heading up? Before the 10:00 am rush? Maybe I'll tag along and try and keep-up?

Yup, s/s in Innisfail downtown, starts at 9, thinking of leaving Calgary around
8:30ish or so..where would you like to meet up?

Stay for an hour and half, then off to Red Deer.

You're welcome to tag along, if you can keep up.....:D:D;)

Great to have the get together, but the food at the Queens diner is disappointing at best.

My car is a long ways from road ready. :)

    I'll be there ;)

Well that may be a matter of opinion, as I myself eat there on the regular and enjoy it...but to each their own!

    Looking forward to the weekend!

I like the food too, but perhaps I've been partly influenced by the great atmosphere. ;)

On top of that I've found the owner to be awesome to deal with, both for hosting events like this (including opening up his garage and allowing us to take over the parking lot), as well as helping us out with one of our photography projects. :)

  20. Why do you always plan this when your farming?? That makes no sence haha.

The event hasn't even happened yet and your already bitching. WTF?

He's looking for an excuse why he can't come....or shouldn't go

  22. A bad attitude sounds like a good enough excuse to me!

Not bitching, just stating an opinion which apparently isn't allowed. I don't need any excuses, I have been to the diner enough times to know I don't care for the food.

Bad attitude, c'mon that's stretching it a little.
The diner idea is kind of neat, I've been there on several sport touring motorcycle club rides.
Tried the food on enough different occasions to have different menu items.
    Just not for me.
The rest of you guys can enjoy it and your get together, no need to crap all over me because I stated how I feel.
Like I'm the first one who has ever done so here. :D

And it's mostly your fault that it's this time of the year anyways man so don't gimme no guff!

Blue One, you're entitled to yours and we ours (some of us more vocal than others) but come by anyways and have a shake...pretty hard to screw those up ;)

Gotta skip this time, boys. The brakes in the Purple Chevy are going wack-o so she's off the road while I take things apart and figure out what's the what.

Probably taking my little boy to Calaway Park that day instead. Have a burger for me at Queen's.

I can't make it, but I might swing by the flying J and say Hi the the Edmonton guys heading South when I am heading North in the morning.

  27. Its not always about the food. It should be about the company and the fun with our cars. I'm giving up going to innisfail S&S to make this. Looking forward to it.
