After I find another dash I will get with you about doing the defroster vents to it,I will be adding heat in the future and it needs defrost too.

Beautiful metalwork. The fact that someone of your skill level takes the time to post pics and take us along for the ride is amazing. Would you mind including pics of the tooling/dies required to press the Pepsi logo into the tailgate?

 

I think there might be enough interest since they never came with a defrost option and defrost is needed on those trucks,all you could do is add a small electric or vacumn fan.

 

Thank you ! The Pepsi logo was pressed in by a tool and die company.Would. love to claim that ,but unfortunately not!

Cab floor panel.The original one is weak and pitted in areas,along with hacked out holes.So we're going to using the new one,although ill fitting and in need of modification to get what we need in this panel,its new steel and great to work.
So after welding up the cut outs,we move onto building the shifter housing.The housing has to bolt to the floor panel,so we have to make a recessed flange for added strength.We use simple tooling again,hardboard.

Electric window build.Last pic shows radio.Body of the radio will be housed in the seat riser and CD access will be at front face of the riser.The radio face will be seated above the rear view mirror.
