For some reason my internet wouldn't work and I couldn't upload anymore photos last night. So here's some more.
It was a great show, but the one thing I noticed this year is the music, wow it was it just me or was it just one group after another that just seemed to scream at ya? Seems like they really fell short on the bands this year, I also noticed many others complaining about it too. Jim
This is a super show or maybe it's a party that people happen to drive old cars to. Whatever, it's always kool.
Looks are different than sound....LOL! I agree, she is nice to look at but if she was one of the ones that was screaming at me all day saturday, then she reminds me of my ex-wife, she always screamed at me too, thats why she is an x... Jim
perhaps because hte bands were setup in a different location this year? in the past I could never hear the bands - I had to walk over to hear them and it seemed it was pretty self contained. This year I did not ahve to leave my booth adn I was able to enjoy just about all the bands - Federation of Horsepower were great as usual... Big Iron kicked major ass.... Quivers were great - as was the band from Omaha - Snake Island overall I thought the bands were really great. I guess it comes down to what you are expecting....... please keep in mind the Los PUNK Rods are the car club behind this event - dont expect your typical cover band doing the lame ass version of Link Wray and Stray Cat Strut - I somehow doubt you will EVER see that at Greaserama - One of the reasons I put that show in the top 3 every year is because of the new music I get to hear there..... in my mind - Dont change a thing on the music front.
I thought the music was great this year. I'm glad there's not the typical car show music or same old rockabilly songs being played. Now I won't lie, I'm a huge Rocketz and Chop Tops fan, so I did think the music last year was better only because they were there haha
Bransom Missouri, Home of the BaldKnobbers and Yakoff Smirrnoff, Just giving you crap, cfnutcase. It`s a great show and I try never to miss it. My wife wondered why I went to Kansas City to a car show, Then she understood when I told her it was Greasearama.
