Where are the larger diameter rear wheels available? Thank you for the help!

    Ohh! Those look nice..... NOT!!

  3. I am not sure I understand the question. How large do you want? Do you have stock 18 inch rims and want a larger tire to go on them? Are you using a stock rear end? Are you looking for period looking wire wheels, discs or mags?

looking at the avatar, maybe he wants the Ford high ground clearance ones? There were some repros out there, maybe cast, though. Anybody recall the thread?

Big Rear Wheels....... you want 30 inch diameter rims or are you looking for tall tires for you 16" rims.. big difference

here is a link to large 18" diameter traditional styled rims (high clearance)

Isn't the car in your avatar Eric Schill's old '32 from Colorado?

If it is, he had original Ford 16" steel rims. The widest Ford made were 5" on trucks.

I wonder if that's what he means?

What the heck, why not put some 20's all the way around and make a donk rod. Then add some hydraulics and go cruisin da hood. A high powered stereo with a massive bass unit and some dingle balls just for grins.

Swissmopar, do you mean the tires, or wheels?

  9. No more than a 16" diameter rim on a '32 roadster, and no wheel design newer than a 1965. Just my opinion.

  14. Stay with tradition. Nothing else. 15's or 16's.
