Well....It has been awhile since my last update, and I feel like I owe, to all of you watching, some things to look at. And just to let you guys know it has not been abandoned, yet!

These sequence of pictures are going to be all over the place, exactly how my brain has been for the past 3 months.

    Here we go:

Some thoughts and ways to attack a few areas

rippin' into the Hemi, found some friends

    and then some more....

sent everything out to the machine shop, should be getting everything back very soon to start assembling.

    On to some push bars

    mounting some tailights

    and some shocks

addressing the "in sad shape" taillights, had my hand at trying to hammer out some patches...

probably already spent way too much time on these damn things, I will update you guys on these later.

Back to Rayz to figure out the firewall and floorboards, and welding, lots of welding.

the firewall started off a lot more elaborate, but after tossing ideas back and forth and making numerous paper templates, we came up with a nice clean solution. Fits the part.

    Things should start progressing regularly.

Firewall and filler panels are now all spot welded. pedal assembly has been reconfigured. Now onto the transmission and drive shaft tunnel.

more time consuming areas, establishing the rear lip of the body.

    more progress soon....

Josh...Just a heads up on when you decide to replace that Ford tranny with LaSalle:

When fitting the Ford rear mount to the LaSalle trans, the length will increase 1.25" rearward. So be thus advised, so you can make the crossmember mounts 'adjustable' in foresight.
I discovered this in 1956, when I went to 'sneak' a LaSalle into my Cad powered '40.
Had to move the Cad forward, and there was not an abundance of space.

Hell yes! This is looking great! Some nice metal work here!

You have plenty of room for a Potvin up front! Or maybe some "other form" of forced induction ahead of the engine!!! :D:D Just sayin'... ;)

Sorry about all the pictures guys, had most of them hosted from facebook (guess they are not allowing that anymore), and now I just messed up all my photobucket albums! haha

Atwater Mike - Thanks for the advice, and hopefully I will be switching out the ford for a lasalle down the road, would only make sense anyway right?

scootermcrad - always dig your comments! I have thought this very same thing, but once everything is in place, things will become a bit more tight.

pwschuh - Thanks for the kind words

I have a bunch of progress shots to get posted, hopefully very soon!

Actually it is a Photobucket issue. Pictures disappear because they (Photobucket) bucket require some strange things to keep an account active.

If not then your photos just vanish and a message just like you see appears.
In most cases it has nothing to do with what the message says.

The person usually did not move or delete the photos at all.

My experiences with Photobucket have told me it sucks big time.

I store my pictures on my PC and manage them with a photo editing program (Microsoft Photo Editor)

That way when I post a picture it stays there.

Like very many of these projects, I don't believe it has ever made it past the mock up stage.
Probably gathering dust in the back of a garage or something worse.
