Junkyard Junky and myself had heard about a wild bronco roming in the back 40..so today He & I went out to the farm and rustled her up! she did a bunch of kickin and buckin and was stuburn as helltrying to get her loaded up,had to drag her to get her loaded! but we brought her home! a great way to spend a sunday afternoon!

...Alot of people have been asking me about updates (ok, actually only one person :) ) ...because ive been doing alot of the things that dont really show that ive done anything,,i got the rear end mounted under there officially as of tonight.

..the 9" carrier in the rear i picked up was junk,,so sourced one out along with fabing a Tri Link ?? rear set up..similar to a ladder bar set up except it pivots of the ball yoke pirated from the reminaints of a 34 wishbone....i used 46 ford lower rear wishbones sleved to the yoke, then flipped the 34 wishbones ,welded the seam and pied them in with the other bones,,,i will ad a gusset,,,i think it should be pretty strong,,,,and a 47 ford front leaf on the rear with press to fit sleves(eliminating the rubber bushings) running standard shackles....

...forgot to mention,,stold the ball mount area from the front crossmeber, then built it into a heavywall tubluar( i know not traditional, but i dont want it moving whatsover...) crossmember,,,,..so thats what ive been up to the past couple weeks...

... i am waiting untill i get the complete engine and everything in it before i decide on lowering it, (there's just a short block in it for mockup) it should go down a tad in the front, but if its not what i like, then i may re-work the crossmember to get her down a lil bit more and maybe the rear spring.

whats next? finish up recessing the firewall, make trans tunnel/toeboards and repair rear floor pan, driveshaft, go through the brakes. and drop motor in it..plus a hundred other lil things,,

  18. I think it looks perfect man. Good job!
