Customs any of you Comet guys try to build this ?

    Have any of you Comet fans ever tried to build a 1964 Comet Super Cyclone like this prototype ?

    well you cant get much more detail than in 117harv 's post - Im a cuda fan myself ( Mopar guy for a long time ) but Ive always liked the Comet, so I may try to build this when I finish my current project - Jaxx

    I didnt know about this car.

    I like it...

    At some point I was thinking about putting '64 Mustang fastback roof on a round Falcon.
    This probably isnt a million miles from that...

    It was in Car Life too. I have the issue around here somewhere...Pretty high profile car at the time...

    I honestly always thought it ugly. The std HT roofline looks better IMO. Actually, I always thought the stock '64 Caliente was maybe one of the 3-4 best looking American cars of the sixties.

    I've had a picture of it in the garage and a Barracuda roof just waiting for the right Comet to come along. That car is just amazing.

    That looks like a 66 Charger, the other one looks like a Barracuda, pfftt, MoPar wannabes :D

    All bullshit aside, all Comets from '61 to '65 were damn good looking cars.
