Event Coverage 4th annual Alberta HAMB/Canadian Rodder get together!!

Unfortunately, it looks as if our depressingly short summer is quickly on its way out the door...but fret not my friends, because if nothing else it means it's almost time for our annual meet-n-eat at the Queens Diner in Red Deer!!

For those of you who have not been before, here is how the past three have worked (more or less). Alberta's hot rod and custom owners meet at a rad diner just outside Red Deer for eats and to hang with like minded dudes and dudettes. This isn't a show perse, so if your car isn't quite on the road don't sweat it. It's just a chance to spend the afternoon BS'n about cars and putting faces to names.

Usually there are convoys out of Calgary and Edm, so if you don't want to make the trip alone hook up with other out-of-towners!

Now, there is usually some difficulty choosing a date so this year maybe I'll just pick it and hope for the best?? How does Saturday the 8th of Sept. sound?? That's a week before Radium and this would be a good chance for everyone to work the bugs out of their hoopties?

moving form PEI to airdire area wish i was going sooner not moving till end of sept have to sell my 52 to get out hopefully find another once i get settled in hope to meet some of you guys and girls if i dont have i ride for next year maybe i could hitch a ride with some one

 

If Charlie has my dragtser engine back together like he says he will, then I will be racing that weekend. If not though, then I will be there for sure with the roadster.

Awesome! There's some friends from Calgary who don't frequent the HAMB making the journey as well. If you guys come up with a convoy plan I'll let them know so they can join you.

What time sounds good for the calgary guys 9:30? or 10:00? NE corner of Deerfoot mall parking lot.
