Looks great, do you have any pictures of how you bagged the front of the stock frame?

Nah sorry no pics of the front before... But I pretty much had to cut all the way to the front & back of the pocket & the upper bag cups were offset a LiL for more clearance..

Thanks man! It will be all shiny some day... Actually taking the dash and interior trim pieced out tonight so I can drop em off to get some candy paint & flaked just tryin to decide on what color thinkin a dark red.. Or maybe a yellowish gold or a bright green

Been daily driving the dodge for a few weeks.. Done a few small things.. temporary interior panels etc.. Just pulled all the interior trim and dash out to get some HOK brandy wine candy w/ HOK silver mini flake & a LiL pin striping... should have it all back this weekend or early next week.. While the car is down im gonna patch up some LiL loose ends and put a new clutch slave cylinder on.. Ohhh also got a LiL new ink representing the 50..

Got the leak in the clutch fixed today.. turned out to be a loose line.. Also got a few pics from the painter of the dash all pin striped.. .. hopefully get the interior pieces back this week so I can take the 50 out to rods on the bluff Friday night

Got my dash and window trims back late lastnight stayed up till about 6 am puttin all the chrome back on the dash and gettin it all put back in the car... Now to "get outta work sick" so I can make it out to the Rods on the Bluff show tonight..

Absolutely beautiful! I love the dash!

 

People were loving the car out at the Rods on the Bluff show this past fri night .. There was never less than 10 people around it at any point thru the night.. Even most of the old timers were diggin it.. I probably had to start it about 15 times for people haha

Here's a LiL better pic of the dash can kinda see the flake pics from my phone do the flake no justice at all tho it looks like a bass boat for sure

Dash looks great all together and installed

 

dam nazi government over there. as long as the car is registered it shouldnt matter if the suspension looks broke. There is a diff between eye sore and broke down. By the way, I love this build. The only thing I would have done different was run a turbo set up on the original flat head. Those motors are a beast. I had a 50 chieftain that had the flathead 8 and I regret not keeping it. Make sure you make it down to Texas in april for the Lone Star Round Up. It would be a definite convo piece of the show.

 

will a small v8 fit into these cars without alot of frame modification. i just bought and i am still doing rersearch yours looks pretty cool. thanks

 

50 been rollin strong been daily driving it for a couple months now only major prob iv had is the flange on the exhaust cracked where it clamps to the turbo.. but i fixed that with a brace from the downpipe to the block.... & for the most part 98% of people love the diesel in the old bomb.. this last weekend it took a top10 award @ rods on the bluff & a 2nd place @ the mopar fall finale here's a few new pics & a shot of the exhaust brace
