Well now i kind of have the right side designed with rough test panels. Starting to figure out the lights etc... Then i will spin the car around and start better panels for the Left. Ray

This time I think you have it backwards. The door top looks right; the dash needs to flow into the door top.
I wish I had your vision, this is gonna be a "well known custom Corvette found in a barn" around 2089.

 

Brought it outside to take a look. Started butching in some turn signals to see if i like them. I think i'm about close to the look. I will leave these panels on the R side and start on the drivers side to get it closer..............then trash R side panels and make new ones. Ray

Just built dash #4. It should reflect the helmet fairing is shape and will blend into the door tops. It's a keeper. Ray

 

New dash looks great! Flows nice with the helmet fairing. Steering wheel, fliptop gas cap and straight hurst stick, are nice touches also.

I really enjoy metal shaping threads! This will be a fun car to drive and see people's reactions.
You are doing a great job. I assume that you are mostly self taught, and figuring it out on your own. In spite of all the help you are getting here I think it will turn out great.

Working on some "keeper panels" on the back. It's like shaping 4 door skins together. Slow but coming along.

I think the drop off from above the front wheel looks harsh. In my humble opinion I think you need to lengthen the front and raise it so its inline with the back. But thats just like my opinion maan. hope the gif works.

I saw the same thing and have made the nose a little longer since that pic. What i did not see is the door swoop. I like the change in the door durring your rendering..Thanks, Ray

 

I continue to be amazed at your skill and your eye. Most of the suggestions as to how everyone thinks your car should be done sucked. However lengthening the front is much more pleasant.

 

First off, I am not worthy of gettin you a beer...you metal shaping is amazing...
That being said, I do think the suggested longer nose looks better aesthetically.. Just an opinion. It's not like I could even come close to doing better

 

Windshield back kind of reminds me of a "Bugeye" Sprite. I'm thinking part of what everyone is trying to get around is the fact that the donor car had such a short wheelbase, they want the car to look longer.
Amazing build skills.

 

Seriously, what is wrong with all you talented guys on here - who can take a bunch of metal and turn it into something like that?
I have enough trouble finding time to look through the HAMB let alone build anything like that.
By the way, the stretched front and dropped door line is much better than the bug-eyed sprite look.
