Bowtie is buying a blue oval

    Oh yeah , bought rad from local O'Reillys....made in Mexico.($160.00)

    Got the floor done & doing the trunk. Oh yeah , the radiator for the 289 does not work with the 302 & the waterpump bolt pattern does not match .
    Not gettin many hours in it .SLOW.....

    i have both and the doors on the ford close good now after being rebuilt thier all good and their all junk just what you want to fix and put your $$$$$$ in:D

    Well, been building a scooter & just got back on the Galaxie. Got a few pics .
    FULL STEAM AHEAD NOW.
    Got the first coat on the floor, laid some paint on the glove box lid to see WTF & starting the interior.

    dyed in the wool total GM man myself, but the 64 galaxie was one of the prettiest Fords to ever come down the pike..

  12. no, it came from Danbury, from a customer that moved south and couldn't take it with him. do you remember how much was the one from east lichfield was?

    BRAKES ARE DONE , INTERIOR IN THE PIKE.( maroon) . Carpet too .
    JUST HAD ALOT OF B.S. ON THE PLATE.

    Its been a long time coming , interior is one slow job . Check these out , going black on dash & front & back window trim .Got stainless trim for the front seat too.
    Carpet is formed to fit the Galaxie with rubber mat under pedals.

    So while we were going on about which was better Ford, GM or Mopar the third world crap took a giants share of the market. They are all great if made in the USA!

    This is why i really hated to start this thread. Myself , i like all old steel . I am doing this ford & giving it to a guy on the trash truck , i did'nt mean it to start a car war. So come on guys , lets keep our really deep feelings to our selves please. Going to have more pix on the build soon , its taking longer then i thought.

    Ok.And if you win, you will have enough money to buy a rotating assembly for the 350 and still have some left to buy a building small block chevys on a budget book.

    they are cheap to build....and they are fast. HELL THATS WHAT I BEEN PAYING FOR FORGED SHORTBLOCKS !!! and i already have the book.
