i think its time to ditch the red tint...
too many shades of red now. the line x was color matched to my seats perfectly, but the tint is darker and cast a different hue on it all.

Good choice, the windows don't go with the bedliner.

thanks once agian for all the good words fellas ....

now you guys got me second guessing the tint. i planned on scrapping it in the am. i guess i ll just keep it in the corner of my eye tomorrow while working in the shop and see what happens.

shit, just the thought of you rolling into town next week , the temp has
already dropped a few degrees, from the coolness that is about to take place when you arrive. between you and mother nature, we might have to wear some sweaters to be in the parking lot or drags with you.

thanks. the like votes are adding up!

it came together quickly, but ive just been driving the shit out of it everyday, been too busy to finish it. but im hoping with this new found push i can get some more progress done and closer to completion.

    and drive i do, everyday!
the bed is made to be used.
if fuel wasnt so damn expensive ive been thinking of running it back to cali for the mooneyes show in dec, but at current rates and only getting 12mpg, it may be quite expensive....

Dude you know already how much i like this thing. The bed is amazing. And i think is rather cool that you used tinted bedliner rather than painting over it as usual.

Another vote for the tint. You can always swap it if you find a color matched one. But i think nobody is gonna complain.

What did the guys at Line-X say about it? Were they "dropjawed" ? LOL

  17. never thought i would be into red tinted windows. that been said i dig it. you should leave them.

    Oh no he didn't!!!!!

So what will the main body color, if and when you paint it?
Thats sweet man, can we get a full body shot from a distance, I'd like a better look where I can see the front and rear wheels from the side?

I would love to come do breakfast for you and the HAMB but I'm still waiting to get cut open. I spent the day at the VA ER getting loaded with antibiotics and pain killers. I got my Sen. on the case so hoping it'll be done soon. I'd explain wtf is wrong with me but it is gross , painful, and just plain embarrassing

LOVE the truck Ryno! I've had my unibody for 23 yrs and is still a work in progress. subframed, rear flip with notch, roof chopped 4'',shaved, healthy 302 and AOD,9'' rear and 4 wheel disc. Bought mine in 1989 and will probably have it forever. I wish I worked as fast as you but it has made alot of progress this year, hoping to have it on the road in the spring.
