40-41 ford pickup picture thread

  1. Had this one back in 1982-83. Not sure where it is today, some guy in Texas City, Tx. bought it. Still have the daughter though.

    My 40 with a swap from 15's with ww to 16's with bw. Much better!!!

    Thanks, not sure on the bed. Some have told me possibly from a 1 ton or larger. It is def old I can tell ya that. The truck came with this bed and I kinda like it!!!

    OK, I'm convinced, my 5 spokes are going to get swapped with steelies and wide whites. I already have new stock rear fenders, they are just not installed yet.

    Here's the one I bought in York with the chev rear fenders. It was built in 50s. Can't help but wonder if the builder, in PA, saw Joe Barnett's 41 with chev fenders in a magazine... makes ya wonder. Maybe two guys on opposite sides of US had the same idea! Runs built 53 Merc flathead, stock 3 spd w/opem drive to 1965 mustang rearend. Both halves of windshield and back glass have Nov 1939 etched in glass with Ford logo. Can you believe the windshield is original?!?!?
