Got the frame painted today. Crappy light in the picture but it's a 41 Ford color that I darkened down with some black. Going to push it outside tomorrow for a better pic

Frame was dry today so I took it off the rack and put it on jack stands. I reassembled the front end and hung it along with the front brakes, upper shock mounts and a few other odds and ends. Nice to see things finally coming together
The paint on the frame was mixed at 70% gloss which kind of gives it a look like old lacquer

Looking sweet Jerry! If you go back earlier in this thread where people questioned the wisdom of saving the origional frame they wouldn't believe how good it would turn out. I need to stop over and check it out.

    By the way..... 1000

Had some time today so I knocked a bunch of stuff out. Got the motor and tranny in and bolted tight. Installed the shifter set up after heating and tweaking my shifter. Got my radiator and grill shell mounted and front rubber on. Also got my upper and lower radiator hoses cut down and installed. Starting to look like a car again

Got my headers painted and installed on the car today. Had to modify my pitman arm some and make and weld in a 7 degree tapered bung for the tie rod. The old chrome drag link was off an old 60s hot rod that I shortened and rethreaded

Put my headlight bar and lights back on. I might take another inch or so out of the legs to get the lights a little lower

I decided that I'm going to replace the axle bearings while I still have the axles out. They should be in at Auto Zone On Tuesday then I can get the rear buttoned up,do the brakes, and drop the chassis back down on the wheels for the last time. After that I'll run my brake lines and do a couple other things while the body is off
