Even before I was a member here, the term "rat-rod" really irritated me. Once I seen that everyone here hates it too, I felt all warm and fuzzy.
But the all time favorite of mine is, "dont waiste my time."
I've accepted the fact that no one wants to punctuate. But what the hell is "waiste?" It's a misspelled/invented word?
I have a degree in engineering and am far from being the smartest man alive.
But if we're grading on a curve, I'm frickin' Einstein.

  7. I had high hopes for this FNG.
    We've done this already Einstein.....

The past tense of see is saw. Adverbs like just, since, once etc have no bearing on tense. Past perfect tense " have " uses the verb seen Examples I just saw/Since I saw /Once I saw I have just seen/Once I have seen/Since I have seen

"Once I seen" is incorrect. Einsteins won't approve, however that was one of the best and shameless examples of self gratification and ego masterbation ,AKA tooting your own horn that I have seen in a long time.

heater works, shifts fine, starts in winter.........

  9. Those big, goofy-ass ghetto "bling" 28" wheels added to any car. The seller brags on the great "rims" (they are WHEELS, you brain-dead crackhead!) it has. Also, that set of ten amps, six subs, and a dozen speakers splattered throughout the car. Of course, the car is always a '78 - '88 GM product, where the car alone might be worth a $500 bill, but the proud owner is asking six grand for it.

Another is "gotta sale, don't have time for it anymore!" Translated: The HOA is on my ass about this complete POS in my garage and they want it gone yesterday"..or.."I'm so far over my head in this that my old lady is gonna kill me unless I sell this bitch to some unsuspecting rube, er, I mean proud new owner!"

I saw an ad last night listing a 1942 Chrysler, photo was of a 1929 Plymouth...

And it was listed "for sell"

  11. The continued and viral misuse of the word "seen" gives me the runs. I hate it, almost as much as "rims".
    BTW, it's "masturbation":D

    Sheesh relax.
"Supposedly there is a spell check on the hamb pages, but its never worked for me the few times I could find it."
    See anything wrong?
And if you wanted a shameless example, look no further than your own post to me.
I'll add a smiley next time to brighten your day.

I entered an unmolested, unrestored (never painted and all original components) OT car ('70 Chevelle 396 SS) in an Unrestored class at a local car show last year, and the car that one first place had been freshly painted, had aftermarket wheels, and had an interior refresh. I'm not a sore loser but how is that unrestored? Hell, my car still had the 2nd set of tires on it that were put on in '75! One reason why I don't do car shows...

    Its not a "pan",its a cover,,valley cover,,it covers the lifter valley.

Are valve covers considered "pans" even tho they cover the valve train?

"For sale,,NOS valve PANS for Chrysler Hemi"

I hate how every original and unmolested old car on sleazeBay or Craigslist is a great "rat rod" candidate no matter what shape it's in.

Apparently you start with a nice car recently purchased from sleazeBay, and smear some horse shit all over it and maybe let a few of your friends puke on the front seat, then cover said puke with a Mexican blanket, and then paint the wheels red.
