Chopped my '32 sedan. While most everyone I know (including my wife at first) didn't want me to chop it. I had planned on chopping it from the day I bought it. The wife is glad I did too now!!! It's about 5&1/4ish" in the rear and about 5&7/8ish" in the front. I started at 5" front and back, and then slowly cut little by little until --I-- thought it looked good. This chop is dedicated to ----MARCY----!!! Hope you guys like it. If you don't to bad, I'm building it for ME to enjoy!!!

I like it! It looks much better with a little haircut. Screw what everybody else thinks, build it your way.

I would love to see more pictures as it progresses.

NOPE!!! It's already decided. Candy gold metallic, with white/cream interior. Wide fives and whitewalls. Flathead, tri power and 3 speed.

Sounds like a great plan, I love candy gold on a sedan. Excellent job on the chop!

    It's channeled 3" already.

HRP, I understand what you mean about being tall, BUT I had to chop it!

Diane Branche's Blue sedan (absolutely GORGEOUS sedan) and the black Rolling bones with the wires and blower are my inspiration!!
Thanks guys. I was in a slump for a while on it, fixing the frame and aligning everything up and figuring out all that tedious little shit was starting to be "not fun" anymore so I decided to "get the juices flowing again" I would CHOP IT now instead of later!! It worked! It looks SO DAMN good to me I'm excited again. Heading out now to start welding up the drivers side.

Here's some more pics of my progress. This is my FIRST '32 CHOP, so I am going slowly as it's like melting down gold, and you don't want to spill even the tiniest drop. Well at least thats how I'm looking at it... Enjoy!

That picture of the assembled car is the day I bought it. Thats what I started with. check out that front end, and the 2 foot engine set back!!!!
