Here`s my 2nd Falcon, my 1st is the gasser in my avatar. This one is going to be a cruiser. I got from a buddy at work . He started in the early `80`s as a show car , But, it fell victim to marriage. I found it setting a tin barn and had been there since `85. The interior was already done as well as the motor work. His Mom bought it new right off the transporter. It`s a real early `63 Futura with buckets & console. The 170 was been bored & balanced with forged pistons, Offy 3-1 barrels and Clifford split headers and a 3/4 race cam as they call. It does hit pretty hard for only 170 plus inches. I`m doing the finish up work ,a complete rewire ,new gauges ,etc. Hope to finally drive it this next weekend.

Damn I want a set! I have a set of four lug 14" aluminum slots that may have been never mounted if someone wants to trade...

Has anyone else wanted to clone this falcon of Wesners? Or is just me?

I wonder if it is a commisioned piece and the car actually exists....as for your girlfriend not wanting that color is kinda crazy :D Im probably gonna pick it my self for my euro Ford.

    ù

That is the dog's bollocks mate. Absolutley perfect...well, minus the wides, needs skinny whites. The tube grille, paint, interior, fuck, everything is dead on perfect. We need more pics.

We saw a '70ish Duster painted Panther Pink this weekend at a cruise. Mrs. Cheese says that's the color for her '61 - possibly with a pearl-white top. Chrome steel wheels are in the picture too.

A rosier, dustier pink would be better for the period, but it's not my car.

Now you all have me thinking with all this pink talk. I haven't settled on a color and I remember that painting from a while back... hmmmm.

Someone built this sweet '61 Ranchero model inspired by Keith Weesner's Orchid Flake painting:
