Had a great time hanging out with so many of my rod/kustom family today and tomorrow it only gets better!

Was on our way up this am, till the water pump bearing exploded and pushed the fan into the raditor. Sitting middle of no where Kansas now waiting for my trailer to show.

Good day, ready for drags in a little bit! Lots of good people and lots of HAMBERS here! Thanks to my good friend Povertyflats for a couple nites of hospitable lodgeing and grub.

 

Made it to KKOA today got some good info on running a rear radiator electric water pump on the street ( current project ) had a blast except for the heat.

 

DRAGS!!!! Another great day in kansas at the drags. Outstanding cars as usual, really enjoyed the double engine dragster.

 

My Friday shots are now up too! Including lots of drag shots, the videos will come later but I did get a bunch of good footage and shots of the drags, heading back to the show now!

Had a fun time at the KKOA show yesterday. Hung out with Gasser Louie, GrouchySS and his lovely wife Cindy, Poverty Flats, Tsquared, and a few others. I saw an almost endless amount of cool, old-time looking cars. Went to the Friday night drags, made one pass with my '31 Ford, and headed for home. All in all, a great day.

Thanks! It's a ton of work but it's worth it when people dig the shots and when others decide that they HAVE to make the show the next year

How often can you say that you seen a gennie 32 ford coupe, with a 427 holman moody side oiler power plant? Not too often you find a deuce with the powerplant valued more than the car itself.F--kin awsome! Hands down my favorite car of the show.

The show was great! thanks for the pix. Best part of the drags was the "moon shot",you know who you are.
Need to move the date to spring or fall, too damn HOT.

I'm heading to the park to shoot some more now. Sunday is always a small day at the show but there are usually some choice rides around. I'm really wishing I would have fixed the A/C though....

 

I was headed back to the show sunday and the fuel pressure reg stuck, the front carb caught fire and burnt my air filter out.
At that point I was thinking the magnesium valve covers on the cammer motor might be a bad idea !!
I got the fire put out backed the regulator off a couple turns , changed the plugs and drove it home 150 plus miles
the 427 runs great but the holley blue pump/regular has to go,this is the second time its let me down
hated to miss the sunday show but it sure nice to be home!

 

Glad you got home okay, I saw you leaving Saturday and was bummed I didn't get to catch up with ya. Thanks for bringing that bad boy down to Salina for everyone to see!
