Only plan is to drive it!! It runnin a bit rough from sitting and the tires have some flat spots but it runs and drives under its own power.. Gonna tune her up and put it on the road! Still would like to get some history.. You can tell its not an east coast car because its solid! Came from South Dakota and I'm sure it wasn't sold over the internet due to the fact that the guy who owned it didn't use the internet.. I'm super stoked!!

  10. Not ringing a bell with me. More likely an East River (SD is like two states, East and West with a river down the center)car. Some of the other SD folks should see this

Well, she needs a bit more work than I thought.. the flathead isnt running right and I was stuck on the side of the road for a while.. I'll get her sorted out..

HA! I was going to suggest it was a west river car and to contact Tman to see if he knew anything about it. The only 2 guys that I know east river that would know for certain are Dyce and Gribble. i dont recognize the car.

Got the fuel under control.. she was feeding 6 plus pounds of pressure to the 94's!! Explains the black plugs!! Cooling system and oil change on the list today... getting closer to rollin time!

  21. Nobody out here has taste enough to build that, unless it originally was built with 80s directional aluminum wheels..................

WOW, long day... took out the 180 thermostats that I think were not working.. replaced them with good old washers.. both 94's that were on it were pouring gas like it was last call at the bar and was just filling the engine with gas!! I put on 2 other 94's that I had lying around, changed the oil, cleaned up the plugs and she purrs like a kitten! new points and timing are the next thing on the list.. But, she is road worthy! Mabe tomorrow I will have time to wax her up and take some pics!!

Wow, thats bad ass man! Great looking Ford, although I only like them when there is some type of chrome running down the side, need something to break up all that paint! But thats just my opinion. Cherish both your hot rod and custom, two great cars!
