  6. G'day Tony, I tried to sell it last year, no real interest & it Didn't sell. So I dropped a Starfire 4 in the engine bay and I'm now saving for a triangulated 4 bar rear setup it is suited to the tight confines, also it will be hidden by the belly pan so wont be seen.

Mine is pretty tight as well and after exploring lots of options I figure a Truck arm style suspension will work OK. I liked your exhaust through the firewall set up.

That's not a rendering.... That car has been together for awhile. I'm pretty sure $65,000 will make you the new owner....

Well, it needed to be built and it was, the Parthenon with cobblestone paving foooled me. , found the link to the one I originally saw, plagerism is alive and well ,

Today, we are releasing another stunning piece of automotive art by hyper-realist digital artist Greg Sims. This piece features a 1928 Ford Speedster and is titled "Arena Speedster".

Don't know if this roadster has been posted, if so excuse me. I posted on another thread, but this might be the thread to get some answers. I came across the pic. on a website that gave no info. and have been trying to find out more on it.

this is what I have found so far, Going by the name on the side of the car:
Jack Henry (First President of Road Runners) Charter Member Road Runners SCTA in 1937.
And this looks like the same car.

Pugh Brothers - John & Rob - picture from Veda Orr's Lakes Pictorial-1946 Season
Can anyone add any more information? Thanks,

  25. That is indeed the same car and owned by the Pugh bros. prewar and postwar it was the SCTA fastest Modified at 127.035mph record (1940) & ran 123.96mph in 1941 at Russetta meet.

First shot is from the AHRF site & was taken in 1940. Car was sponsored by Jack Henry presumably because the brothers were using a Jack Henry manifold. Jack Henry owned an English Riley roadster powered by a flathead V8

It's actually not the Parthenon. It's the Royal Cresent, in Bath. UK. My brother lived a few blocks from there! It's used in many period films. Another bit of useless information, now back to your regular viewing......
