The basis of the offense of unlawful assembly is the intent with which the individuals assemble. The members of the assembled group must have in mind a fixed purpose to perform an illegal act. The time when the intent is formed is immaterial, and it does not matter whether the purpose of the group is lawful or unlawful if they intend to carry out that purpose in a way that is likely to precipitate a breach of the peace.

I guess to assemble together to burn down the police station would be an illegal act.

The cops used to do that to us when I was in high school.49Ratfink is right you can't get kids outside to today unless there is a new video game released.

I love the extraneous use of the word "jalopies."

Today that article would read " Police SWAT teams apprehended 31 gang members and two suspected prostitutes in a early morning raid . Police seized 22 pounds of Heroin,97 AK-47's,253 hand guns,10 thousand in cash,6 modified sports cars and 12 illegal aliens."

  19. Just as long as the 2 girls were "strictly passengers"... wouldn't want to "shock" the public or anything... lol.

  20. and all have been released because of illegal search and racial profiling with a civil suit against the police department to follow.:D

"Youthful drivers" and "Souped up jalopies"

Probably Senators and Congressman now, or cops.

If you've ever run from the cops to escape a ticket you're a "real" hot rodder. :D

I wish they had something like that for the rice rockets. But instead of giving them space, just taking there mufflers and throwing them at the drivers.
I live in Westminster better known as little Saigon.

What year is the article from?? Notice that it says "Race Tract" instead of "Race Track"
Must be the times when "Gay" meant "Happy".
