Mid-Day Bump-erooo!!!!

Hi again Dave & all....

I had a car which was photographed for a magazine at Carlisle MoPar Nationals back in 2003.... I missed most of the picture taking session. Later in the day the photographer came back & had me move the car to the shale hillside at the bottom of the Fun Field. It was pretty exciting!!!
Better than the trophies!!!! Waiting for the article to hit the news stand was a long wait!

REMINDER: Let's not forget about the 2nd Annual PID (Pittsburgh International Dragway) Reunion on July 25th (6-10pm) at Sonic - RT 50 - Bridgeville, PA.

There was a really good turn out last year. Like last year, the original "Christmas Tree" used at PID will there for photos with cars.

OK GUYS---lets have a head count, this is on Aug 5th

• Meet at Uniontown Walmart parking lot between 10am Sunday morning.
• Leave Walmart and head over the Summit mountain and make our way to Kurts Family Restaurant for breakfast/brunch. . Depending how many cars make the trip, we could also pull off at the overlook on the Summit if there is enough room. This would make for an awesome photo with Hot Rods on the skyline. (Approx 20 miles)
• From Kurts, head to Ohiopyle for a quick stop at the falls. Depending on what everyone else wanted to do, you could spend 5 minutes to an hour here. If you have never been there it is a pretty neat place. (Approx 7 miles).
• Leave Ohiopyle and head towards Ligoneer through "Mellon's" property to Rt. 30. A very nice ride on some scenic roads. (Approx 30 miles)
• Take Rt. 30 into Greensburg for a final stop - Can be decided at Kurts or Ohipyle (Approx 12 miles)
• If anyone wants, can then go to Fiddles,or Norwin

17. Thanks for posting Gary. I know some of the mountain guys both hambers and other rodders will be meeting us at Kurt's and then traveling with us from there.

Good morning Bump and......

Looks like we'll have to miss Connellsville on Saturday.

Took Gina's Dad to hospital yesterday. Tough times for him lately.

Still plan to make it to the PID Reunion on Wednesday night.

No Opel .... will be riding my Indian Scout. It's not far from home and the hospital so in case we have to go ..... hope to see you guys there.

I would love to make the 5th but I have to run a 36 ford hood to Tennesee that week end. I'll keep watching the thread and maybe catch a breakfast or something
