A long ride but really worth it. Had a great time, made 6 or 7 passes. Thanks to Ray Helger, Oxford Dragway and the fans that showed up.

Here are a couple of pictures for tonight, there will be more to follow. The Class Reunion Chevy Gasser, this car really flies. He towed all the way up from Pennsylvanian, and was not the winner of the long distance award.

Swamp Donkey's "Agent Orange" B/D in the staging lanes. Terry had the grill fired up Saturday night and fed many hungry racers including me...Thanks again Terry.

One of my all time favorite cars. Jim Barillaro brought both of the Chrisman Comet's up from Tennessee. He even made several smokey passes in the 65 car.

 

Ernie Broughton brought his new Comanche AA/FD cacklecar. Car is not finished yet, but will be making noise soon.

51box aka "Cappy" has been buggin me for too long to get it done! I will have some shorter solo runs from him as well in a day or two.

Oh ya, this was/is the first attempt at using the GoPro camera, its in 1080dp so change your screen settings if you can. The sun was tough and we had no idea how the night scenes would come out. This one is "ok" but they will be getting better!

Peter Gibson from Maine is restoring the old Spirit of St. Louis AA/FD. This car was featured in Hot Rod Magazine in 1969.
