Threads like this make the HAMB the coolest place on the web. I long for threads like this instead of the 24/7/365 bitchfest that the HAMB has all too often become:(. Thanks for posting Kirk!

Here is one that used to be the Holy grail of hood ornaments as only six were originally made - one for each of the six Bugatti Royales. They have since been reproduced, proving that nothing is sacred....

You're welcome. I'm stoked that everyone is digging them as much as I did.

The bitchfest is why I have been so absent on here. It's just usually not worth the effort. WAY too many internet experts on here these days.

Right in my backyard. Did you eat at George and Sally's or stick around for cruise night?

I only live about 10 minutes from there...every time I'm there and the barn with the hood ornaments is open my wife has to drag me out of there. There are so many that it's hard to focus.

Just as amazing is they actually have many of the same great ornaments INSTALLED so you can see them as they were intended.

I've seen the jester, but that robot is INSANE! You have to recast that!

Does anybody know anything about #484, the prone Egyptian princess? I think that is so cool because I dig the art deco style of that subject and era. Did that hood ornament go on some particular brand or just an aftermarket dress up?
