Come on Willie, you don't have to be a gold chainer to know what this is.

Regardless wether the vehicles were at the show or not, they do not belong on the HAMB, period. I didn't take a pic of any of the crap this year at all. I don;t even want a reminder.

Whatever dude, gold chain my ass. If that's the way you think you are on the wrong board.

Despite your caring nature and sensitive post, they do not belong here. How hard is that to understand?

That car in many ways was the saddest car there to me, so close to being a really nice ride, yet so far.

What that is? It's what happens when a cry baby doll grows up and tries to rebel. :D

Some cars are built and displayed in a way to get attention. Looks like that's what happened here.

Seriously people quit posting the damn rat rod. It's heinous. As a matter of fact delete the dumb shit.

As for the gold chainer comments, the people building these are the same people that built the ugly ass street rods just a few years ago.

  10. x2.

Looks like a fine show in a good looking city. Lots of fine cars. Love the Kaiser, the tank, the 50's 'blingy' hemi deuce has killer details.

  11. Zman, Can you delete your thread and start another one? Your pics shed some positive light on a show we really enjoy.

    Just wondering.

Looked and at this point I don't think so, but if one of the mods does I won't blame them at all.

And if I was nice to any of the rat rod posting douches at the show, I take it back.

  14. The problem is the thread don't match your intended audience,,now a hijacker is here imposing some of his fugly photos on your thread! HRP

Really the thing that pisses me off about those cars is that there are some really good parts going to waste there! I've been looking for workable stuff at a good price for a few years now, and I believe they are all getting snatched up by "these guys" and chopped with in an inch of their lives! I can only hope to find as many good parts as I see on that monstrosity with the godawful air cleaner and intake set up, and this guy is wasting them on that turd!
Don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with building your car the way you want, I'm sure lots of dudes hate my car! I can respect anybody thats building a car them selves period, probably even get along with them but that doesn't mean I have to like their car at all!
And yes it just doesn't belong here...hell maybe my car doesn't either, but at least I'm trying to do something about it, as cash alows!

If you absolutely need to see, post, or repost pictures of rat rods you should find another message board – full stop. This isn't even up for discussion.

Want to complain about rat rods? We all "get it" bro, so it's a waste of time here. Go do it on Facebook or something.

Hat's off to zman for covering a show and keeping the focus on the type of cars that belong here.

Ha ha ha ha ha! I wasn't brown-nosin' when I asked about the Buick in the background. It just now dawned on me who's car that is.

Sweet ride. Thanks for posting up the extra pics.

I had a good time and THANK YOU SO MUCH to all those who supported Sugar City Speed Shop and the IRON LORDS. We loved hanging out with you all and look forward to next year. There was definitely some cool cars that showed up and I am glad the Lakester parked right across from my booth.

Zman, nice talking architecture, cars and life with ya!

Dave Russ, Nice seeing you glad you came out!! Hope you got to partake in that swim yesterday.

Thanks to all my friends for making it a great day. I loved hangin out with you guys and gals.

  26. Nice shots Kevin! Sorry about the tire luck.

I big feller from Tennessee. It's such an awesome car that was supposedly found tucked away for a very long time. It's got a really healthy small block, '39 trans and a 3x2 intake. Very cool car which is why the IRON LORDS gave it best hot rod!!!!

I wanna say his HAMB name is something like Quiet One.
