People say the Big Al's Toybox folks are the ones who are currently in possession the old "Broadway" Freddy DeNome "Saturday Night Fever" Funny Car... While I must admit that it's one of the ugliest floppers from back in the day, it's still sort of a piece of drag racing history... And yes, I know Freddy was a genuine "dirtbag" of the lowest order, that's common knowledge among those who really know their drag racing, but anyways, I've seen the car on display at E'Town's NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS, I even snapped some pics of it-- Maybe they'll bring it to this year's edition of the event on July 29th??...

  14. When was the Show?

  15. 4th of july:rolleyes:

I saw that 440-powered 34 at Sycamore Drive In, people were criticizing its front suspension design. when you see it in person, check out how the leaf springs are separating individually towards the rear of the car.

not to throw stones at the car, but with all that power...it could become an issue if driven as intended...

  17. Yes that car is there! I did not get a photo of it.

Oh, okay, yeah, like I said, it's certainly not one of the better looking cars of the era...

  20. I guess that's why I did not take it's picture
