I have this picture that was taken last winter and really didn't look much closer. Anyone care to hazard a guess as to what it is?

  2. Looks like it used to be a 4 door sedan.

Well sir, I guess could take a piece of rusty chrome off it and send it to use a trophy. :)

I have permission to take what I want off some cars up in a forest where this cab is setting. There is a stripped 35 for pickup that is been laying on its side for 50 years, a 50 Ford shoebox that has had a tree fall on it, and I believe, the remnants of a 38 Ford Sedan that may have a few pieces of chrome that might be of use to someone.

The 35 Ford pickup is probably only good for a dash, pedals, and odds and ends. The 50 was intact when it was pushed over the edge with a dozer. I plan to grab what I can off the engine. I plan to take the grill bullet as a wall hanger. Its a little dinged from the ride it took.

If the 35 ford truck chassis isn't trashed there's lots of good parts, the rear wishbones come immediately to mind.

The rearend is under a wagon somewhere and I think the front axle is gone.

  8. That is a '28 Dodge Victory 6 sedan. There is a HAMBer that is looking for that visor- if I can find his info, I'll pass it on to you!

I think there is a second dodge cab there in about the same shape. I would imagine the neighbor have similar boneyards. Yea, if there is something somebody needs let me know. Its quite a trek and not quick to get.
