Last evening I gave my little niece her first ride in a roadster. I think her smile pretty well sums it up.

Ha ha! That'd be cool! She really liked the wind blowing thru her hair and the sense of speed. I hope it might have set the hook.

  4. Building memories, nice......real nice don't get any better than that. When does she get to steer? Glad you kept the hand.

You know I hadn't thought about that. I suppose I ought to check with HQ on that question. But maybe pretty soon!

I've been running the hand so long now I can't "not" do it. Thanks.

Kids are great! Some of the best kid smiles I have ever seen were when I gave my kids, and later my grand kids rides in my roadster. The smiles tend to come from anyone getting a ride in a roadster for the first time, but kids smiles truly come from the joy they feel from within.:D I can't describe it... you can't put a price on it... it is priceless. Kids will remember that experience their whole life and the kindness that you showed them.;) Good for you!

It sure was fun riding her around. Her parents aren't exactly car people. But I think she got it. She was like "why does everyone wave at you"? I laughed and said it wasn't me, it was the car. I guess we all have to do what we can to keep the spirit alive when we get the chance.

That brings about the other part... When people see that old iron going down the road, they smile, wave, give thumbs up, etc.. It is not us. It is the car! When you drive this cool, old stuff, it is though everyone is your friend! Interesting phenomena.
As for keeping the spirit alive... amen to that UNCLECHET:)

I would have given her a ride sooner but she's just now gotten tall enough to see out! And we didn't go far because she's still supposed to be in a booster seat and all that. Still, she had a good time. I always try to be nice to kids, somebody needs to carry on the torch.
