Great idea. Stupid working keeps getting in the way. I am in New Stanton and would be interested in a future meet sometime.

 

I'm not in PA but I live in Blaine, Ohio about 6 miles west of the Wheeling (I-70) and the Ohio river but I'd drive an hour or so to attend if you guys let me!

Bump Looks like we are going to have a nice morning for a get together! Seems like we can expect maybe 8-10 cars.

 

That's what I started out with and now I get 50 to 60 cars, Keep it ALIVE don't let it die.....

I e-mailed a couple guys that aren't on HAMB that I thought would fit in---only got 1 response,and boy was he excited about it!!!

 

Haha, now THAT'S funny right there....

 

Unfortunately not........I sure thought it would be cool to live here when I lived in Butler, Penn TWP., and Carnegie. Man I took the 'Burgh for granted and miss it every day! You guys can choose from a few car events a night there! Here we have two "car cruises" weekly at two parking lots. Same day, one just after the other. Same 20 or so cars every week at both. Pretty crappy. Don't get me started on traffic, local population, taxes, lack of Primanti's and Eat'n'Park, etc.!!!!!
Hoping to move back sooner than later. I guess it's ok to visit here, but not a great place to live.

 

Actually just funny to me, maybe... My wife lived in Newport News for 10 years before moving up here, and she always talks about how much there was to do down in that area...

 

You guys should move out here to SUNNY San Jose Ca. We have a TON of fun....

You guys PAY for that sunshine every day. The cool thing about san ho is that you have car events 12 months a year!

 

Count me in. I have to be in New Ken a little later in the morning so I won't be able to stay too long. It will be nice to meet everybody.

 

Count me in.From the sound of it there is going to be more than a dozen cars.

We will MISS this gathering..... will be in LA for our son's wedding.....

Needless to say we will try to jam as much "hot rod stuff" as we can into the week we will be there.

Looking forward to hooking up with everyone soon.

Just got back from Mineral Beach sky was getting dark and my roadster doesn't have roof. weather still looks good for Sat. 30% chance of Thunderstorm after 11:00 we should be out of there by then, I'll have doughnuts there at 8AM see you there, Sam
