Got my Jalopy Journal book today!

Like the title says I just received my copy,,how about you guys? HRP

How does the color look on the photos of the red t-bucket on Route 66???
Thankfully those negatives were kept in a dark shoe box for 44 years...

 

Maybe my copy will be waiting for me in the mailbox when I get home from work.

 

That's good news. I hoping mine will be there when I go to the PO after work.

The mailman brought my copy this morning; some thoughts:

The book is outstanding, it takes the history and culture of our sport to a new level. I spent a most pleasant hour on my back deck taking it all in and plan to revisit it at length when I have more time. Job well done!

Thank you for paying attention to grammar and syntax. One of the things that I really appreciate about the early days of Hot Rod Mag is the fact that it was well written, with obvious attention to grammar and punctuation, and with complex sentences that actually said something. Nowadays the print media, in general, seem to have forgotten how to construct a coherent paragraph. Thanks for the thoughtful and well constructed editorial content.

Congratulations to you and the other folks who had a hand in this.

My computer is as slow as Christmas today,,I'm trying to up load a couple of photos now. HRP

 

Got mine five minutes ago. The United States Post Office was not nice to it so it already has a 'patina' (read- beat to shit). Nice book though. Glad I ordered it!
