When I bought this truck not have deluxe rubber and trim but only rubber and glass

When I bought this truck had no deluxe rubber and trim but only rubber and glass. Maybe that's why the glasses are identical?

Orula, I just read this entire thread in one shot, you're truck is awesome! I have a 52 deluxe buried in a storage unit, i put a heidts mustang II on it as well and then ran out of money. I had a question: did you fab the c notch yourself or was it a kit? Do you know the measurements of it?

You mean the c-notch in the rear frame?


Measure for the rear. Custom C-Notch, no Kit.

Frank, there should be a local glass shop with a belt sander to sand the edges of glass. It's normal for them to sand the glass that isn't going into a frame. That how the shop that does my glass does the final fit on it. One of my friends cuts down windshields for chopped tops by that method. In his case it's many hours of sanding and usually several sanding belts.

The other option would be to take a jack and blocks and raise the front of the roof up that 2mm in the center but that might get other measurements off now that everything is fitted.

 

Now I must wait. I bought a new windshield rubber, Steele Rubber (made &#8203;&#8203;in Usa... I think) and try again with this.

If does not fit, I will cut the glass.

I've used a jack to raise the top in the middle, we will see the new measures as soon as I remove the windshield.

Hello to all,

after deciding the best place (for me, under dash, driver side)
to fix the fuse box I created a bracket because I did not like leaning

Hello everyone,

some little updates.

I started to install the dynamat insulation and pedals, and for the parking brake pedal I bought a Dimmer switch Pad and I thought to do so




I separated the two pieces







Assy...




I have also modified the top cowl vent drain hose to avoid that water falling on the engine.
No need to make any holes I used the existing



Now the drain hose comes out the bottom next to the passenger door




I hope that these solutions are helpful for someone. If you have questions do not hesitate to ask

I love how you re-directed the vent drain, I've been trying to figure out how to re-route mine since i ran HEI coil wire through it! Thats a hell of alot better than the canteen I was gonna hang on the firewall!
