When I read about these cars being stolen I wonder what is going through the thief's heads. Do they realize how unique they are? Are they just after a few bucks to feed a habit? Will they strip it as if it were a jeep wagon? Are they organized enough to fill a overseas order for a deuce?
I hope the owner gets his car back in good condition.

That totally sucks! How was it stolen? At his house? On a trailer? I'll keep my eyes out.

I bet it was another one of those enclosed trailer jobs, because they couldn't drive that far without being noticed.

That does blow.. I've had stuff stolen before. It's been so heartbreaking that I would have just paid the losers more money than what I had stolen was worth, to NOT steal it. I hope he finds it, and it's all in one piece.

  15. According to a friend of mine who is an executive in the Automotive Insurance Industry car theft rates are Actually at a 20 year low! And that includes Classic and Custom cars.

And let's face it, car thieves have been around since, well Horse Thieves

    Another Bump to the Top.

Just thinking how does a hot rod get stolen between 2:00p.m and 4:00pm in a Car Show ???? When ever I take my car and park it in a cruise or a show I am not far away. Where were the spectators??? Just Asking.

  24. Car was not stolen during or after a car show. It was taken the next Friday at a theater in Centerville, Utah. From what I understand Scott had taken his wife to a movie and when they returned the coupe was gone from the parking lot of the Megaplex.

The coupe is nicely done with a small block chev with Cadillac valve covers.
